Biography
Greg Bunbury is a designer, illustrator and art director, born and raised in Hackney, London.
Though primarily a graphic designer, Greg has worked in many creative capacities over the years. From marcoms to fashion, from exhibition design to branding, his multi-faceted skill set has generated successful and award winning work for more than a decade.
He has provided creative solutions for brands and organisations such as the London Development Agency, Sanyo, River Island, The International Hotel Group, Thompson, Tourism Ireland, Pure London, Reed, and many more.
He served as Head of Creative for b2b marketing agency Mabox, helping to win them two MIMA gold awards among others. He also created the 'Words Unite' brand, an initiative promoting literacy in Hackney, for The Learning Trust.
A former musician and sometime DJ, it is these personal passions that lead him to start his own design business, providing creative solutions across branding, print and digital for the entertainment industry. His clients now include Universal Music, Sony, Warners, Polydor, and many others across music and film.
As an independent illustrator, his work is inspired by the iconography of his youth. With references to pop culture, album covers, and 80s cartoons, he creates images that are both new and familiar. Working from both commissions and personal projects, his work is currently on view at the Bottle Neck gallery in New York.
Greg works and lives in North London, with his partner and daughter.
