Screening Africa

Screening Africa at the Africa Centre invites you to our next screening event - showcasing 'Africa United' followed by a Q&A with director Debs Gardner-Paterson.

Home-made Nigerian food will be available for sale on the day at £5 per plate and a reasonably priced bar will be open before and after the screening.

Africa United synopsis:
Africa United tells the inspiring story of a group of children and their adventurous journey from Rwanda, through the Congo DRC, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe, as they try to achieve their ultimate dream: to take part in the opening ceremony of the 2010 World Cup in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Programme:
3:30PM: Doors open
4:30PM: Screening of Africa United
6:00PM: Screening ends
6:30PM: Q&A with Director
7:00PM: Mingling with director
7:30PM: END
